All areas of speed such as lateral and linear acceleration, cutting, top end speed, deceleration, reacceleration and power will be addressed throughout this 8-weeks. As an athlete you will also be able to take what you’ve learned during this program and implement it through all aspects of your sport, regardless of the level. High Intensity Interval Training is an 8-week no nonsense program designed to push your limits. This program consist of weekly 45 minute sessions comprised of quick, intense burst of exercises followed by selectively timed active, recovery periods.
The sole intent of these workouts is to increase the bodies metabolic rate, burn calories and shed body fat during and up to 72 hours after leaving the gym! Studies have shown that performing H.I.I.T workouts 1-3 days per week can burn more fat and increase cardiovascular function and ability more efficiently than steady state cardio.
